Weekly Reader 1/8/16

Hello Cheer World Families,

This Week:

Wow….it’s been awhile since I’ve done this!  Happy New Year to our entire Cheer World Family!!! I hope 2016 brings health and happiness to everyone involved with the C-Dub Nation!  The Weekly Reader will now be back to being “weekly” since after the birth of my daughter, the inconsistent communications were more of a “weak reader”.  Speaking of, congrats to David Juniper (former coach, Coed Stunt & Tumbling instructor) on the birth of his second child! Lucas Neime Juniper was born at 11:51pm on 1/7/16, 7 lbs & 15 oz, 20.5 inches.  Both mom and baby doing well!

An overdue congrats goes out to Immortals on winning WSF Nationals and to Omega on earning an At Large Bid to the Cheerleading Worlds!  Can’t wait for the rest of this season, especially this weekend for the rest of the program!

Due to the amount of time since the last Weekly Reader, all information below is NEW.  Please be sure to review!

FAMILY Helping Families:

A huge thank you to Mike Matranga for coordinating the food donation from Sandridge Food Corporation as well as preparing and serving dinner during our holiday visit to the Ronald McDonald Family Room at the Cleveland Clinic.  Many families unfortunate enough to spend the holiday in the hospital were appreciative of a delicious meal, a warm blanket, and friendly CW volunteers.

If anyone else is interested in coordinating a food donation for a future visit, please contact Julie Lyden at slyden@hotmail.com
