Weekly Reader 2/19/16

Hello Cheer World Families,

This Week:

Here we go again…(I feel like I just said that) weekend #4 in-a-row for our Worlds teams, and Dallas is about to get taken over by All Star Cheerleaders!  We hope all families attending enjoy one of the OTHER BEST events in our industry!

Congrats to Omega’s Allie Stern for being named an Nfinity Legend.  This recognition is for her being one of the industries BEST tumblers!  What a great accomplishment for Allie and her coaches.

When the competition gets tough…: (REMINDER)

“Life coach first, cheer coach second. We aim to be the best at both.” is the mantra of the Cheer World coaching staff.  It’s a difficult task, as we are in a competitive sport, with competitive athletes, who come from competitive parents (sometimes).  It can be really easy to put the focus on all of that competitiveness, which is certainly a part of life.  We are steadfast in our pursuit in preparing our athletes with the life skills of teamwork, confidence building, accountability & sportsmanship.  It’s a fine line to walk, but the coaches are up for the challenge.

The Cheer World All Stars MVP, or Mission Vision and Purpose reads…

Cheer World All Stars exists to be an exemplary All Star Cheerleading Facility where the lives of our participants, their families and our staff are enhanced and developed through participation in our programming.

Our passionate, top notch and caring staff believe in being life coaches first and cheer coaches second, but be aim to be the best at both.  It isn’t about what our athletes do on the mat, but the footprints they leave when they step off of it.

We establish a strong foundation by developing whole character and overall confidence in every participant, by helping them create and own a vision of themselves achieving success – first in life, second on the mat.

As we are halfway through Nationals Season, we felt it was important to share our beliefs again with families.  Athletes & coaches can lose sight of the big picture at “stressful” times of the season, and it is important that the Cheer World Family stays focused on what’s truly important. The jackets won will soon not fit, or wear to thin, but the foundation of life skills will remain.

Mark your Calendar’s: (REMINDER)

On Saturday, March 26th we will host our Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Open Gym!  We know some of our athletes have “outgrown” the idea of an Egg Hunt, but anyone can attend the Open Gym.  Help spread the word for this great family focused event.  Please CLICK HERE for more information.
