Weekly Reader 9/18/15

Hello Cheer World Families,

This Week:

Less than one month till our kick off event, the annual Cheer World Showcase & Food Drive!  All teams are working hard at preparing for both this performance and the ensuing season.  Let’s not forget all the work the CW Boosters and the parent support that is needed to make this event another success!  The CW Boosters are asking you to sign up and volunteer (CLICK HERE to help out!) by either donating items for the Bake Sale or for helping with set up and tear down!

It’s just about time to get this seasons Cheer Bow!  Information will be sent out next week on how pick up and payment will run.

Finally, we would like to welcome Cheer World Zeta back, as they recently began their season!  We are so proud of our Special Needs team, all the athletes, coaches and assistants have accomplished.  A proud congratulations to Coach Tracy Drowns, who was picked for the Ohio Special Olympics Outstanding Coach Award (presented Friday, September 25th in Columbus)!  It’s no surprise to us that she’s getting this recognition for the AMAZING work she has done with both Cheer World & Gymnastics World with our Special Needs programming.

Cheer World Boosters:

Have you enjoyed the new monthly CW Booster newsletter?!  We hope the information provide helps the overall experience and understanding for both new and returning families!  If you missed the emails, like the Weekly Reader, you can find an archive on the Boosters page of our website.  Or CLICK HERE to view the September Newsletter.

Cheer World

Put in desired dates, and only the group rate will populate. OR call directly and mention the “Cheer World Block” or the block code: CHR.

The rate is $199 or a total of $233.83 with tax. Valet parking is $24.00 per night.

Louisville/Indianapolis Bus option: (REMINDER)

Thank you to those who responded about transportation options for the upcoming season.  We only received 17 people interested in riding a bus to both the Louisville and the Indianapolis competitions.   With busing costs around $3000, this is not a good option.  Therefore, Cheer World will not be providing bus transportation to either Louisville or Indianapolis.

The 2015 “Day Off School” Cheer Clinic:

On Friday, 10/16 the CW Boosters are hosting their first “Day Off School” Cheer Clinic.  Running similar to our Presidents Day Camp (which isn’t happening this year due to Atlanta competition) this will be an AMAZING fundraising opportunity for the CW Booster Club!

They are looking for both athlete and parent volunteers to help make the event happen.  Please CLICK HERE to volunteer today!

Holiday Schedule: (FINAL REMINDER)

We’ve had a few questions regarding the Holiday Schedule and family travel.  Effectively, our Holiday Practice, Party & Closing Schedule will take place from 12/18-1/2.  Any travel over that time will NOT conflict with training.  If any families have travel scheduled that conflicts with that, please notify pat@cheerworldallstars.com and your team coaches ASAP!  With a big competition in Cleveland the first weekend back and a World’s bid event in Indy following that, we want to get ahead of any potential conflicts.

Cheer World is having a baby!!: (FINAL REMINDER)

Ok, well not a baby, but we now have a Babies Team!! With a grin from ear to ear just thinking of how cute this team is going to be, we proudly announce our new Half Year Team, “Baby Goddesses”!!  For kids 2-5 years olds, spread the word of our newest program.  For more information please CLICK HERE!

Registration has started for both our Half Year Cheer & Club Cheer World programs.  A great starting point for siblings and new athletes to competitive cheer!
